I really enjoy full color to show off certain aspects such
as a models eyes, hair, or even the coloring of the clo-
thes. B/W is always get for a dramatic image.
Are you a fetish photographer and why?
I actually started out as a nature photographer. I fell in
love with the latex look, the way that a simple sheet of
rubber could turn a model into a goddess or a divine
creature from some other place. I also love that most
fetish work is not mainstream. I did not want to follow
the crowd, I want to be unique, and with fetish work you
are free to express yourself in so many ways.
How do you prepare your sessions?
I spend a lot of time perfecting the wardrobe and expe-
rimenting with light at home. I like to try out new tech-
niques before hand so I am not wasting time in studio
or on location trying to get a certain look achieved.
Have you ever run out of inspiration during a photos-
hoot?
Sure, but luckily for me I work with awesome models
and my wife is always a wonder with coming up with
more inspiration!
Do you like sharing all pictures or do you keep some
only for you?
I do have some pictures that I save for myself. I want
to have them framed and show them when I finally have
my own studio.
Can feelings be portrayed?
Yes, feelings can definitely be shown in photos.
What is the most tedious task in photography?
For me its getting the light just the way I want it. Clea-
nup can be tedious too when you have to clean up all
the latex polish!
Have you ever dreamt something and when waking up
thought: "I have to express it through a picture"?
I have, in fact my next project is exactly that. I only hope
I can be true to my dreams!
Future projects?
There are! I am working on blending some horror with
latex fantasy.
